Settle on in

Roll up, roll up! Very soon, Xbox will be giving us a little look at some of the games coming to consoles from its partners. Personally, I am looking forward to seeing more from IOI’s James Bond. Also, I think Tides of Annihilation looks really interesting. It is not the kind of game I usually play, but I love the idea of marrying modern London with Arthurian Legend.

Kami says: … what do I want to see? WET 2. I kid (a little). Seriously though – how about what the heck is going on with the Fable reboot? Starting to get a little worried Microsoft’s cancelled that one too…

Kami says: Fair. Still, Microsoft worries me a lot lately. I’m reminded of the old WoW term “All the Gear, No Idea”…

This is me when it comes to skiing and mountain biking. I spend most of my time on my backside (in both sports). Still, I have fun

Kami says: … well, being on your bottom is probably the safest thing in Skiing. I snowboarded in my younger, wilder, pre-wheelchair days. Words like “Watch this!” were said. Injuries were inevitable. 😛

Yes, my skiing is probably closer to sledging most of the time, just sans sledge XD

I am basically snowed in at the moment, so need to go and raid the freezer to find something for supper. I will be back closer to 6pm to chat all things Xbox (or what I found in my freezer/other hobbies I am not very good at/whatever else seems topical at the time).

Armatus announced, coming next year

A new game by the name of Armatus has been announced, and it is coming next year. It is said to have a “Demon-Ravaged Parisian Hellscape”. Pain au chocol-arrrrgh, anyone? This will be a Game Pass number, as well.

Dave the Diver heads to Xbox

Dave the Diver comes to Xbox! A lot of us here at Eurogamer quite enjoyed this chap when it came out. There is also going to be a new DLC next year, called In the Jungle.

Total Chaos available now

If you don’t have enough chaos in your life, then you can now add more thanks to a game called Total Chaos (which to be honest, could just be how I describe my day to day).

Reanimal has a demo and a release date

Reanimal has got itself a release date, and a demo out now! This one has caught my eye but also I am a bit of a wimp, so…

Anyway, the game will release on 13th Feb!

Kami says: Yup, Total Chaos was originally a Doom 2 TC, so this is a remake of a Doom mod.

Tides of Annihilation gets boss fight teaser

We just got another Tides of Annihilation teaser, and wow! This was a boss fight, showing off the Dual Frontline Battle System.

Sequel to Raji: An Ancient Epic announced

I loved Raji, and the studio has revealed a new game, so I am one happy little lady right now. It’s a sequel, called Raji: Kaliyuga, though it is not “just a simple follow-up to the original’s story, but a whole new game entirely”

Ok, so that was better than I was expecting

Guys, that was a pretty great showcase! I wasn’t expecting much, but I am really excited about a lot of things shown. Raji sequel, yes! Vampire Crawlers, yes! Tides, yes! Nice one, Xbox

Vordus says: I don’t know whether it’s just that Xbox wanted all these things to be Play Anywhere, thus removing the big publishers from the picture, but this was a really good highlight of unexpected things from smaller publishers.

Kami says: I haven’t seen WITLY for years. Think last episode I caught was the Royal Wedding episode one, which was admittedly very funny.

It always makes me laugh, currently watching a story by Victoria Corren Mitchell, and poor David looks so sheepish

Kami says: I don’t know if Silent Hill 2 woulda added anything though. At this point it feels overdue anyway.

That would require Konami sell the PC and Xbox versions as a single package. Which even considering Konami’s current redemption arc is something I can’t see happening.
